Job Opportunity in the Aboriginal Studies Program at U of T

The Aboriginal Studies Program is looking for an academic for a 12-month, part-time 50% position, at the rank of Lecturer in the area of Aboriginal Studies. The position will begin August 15th, 2014 and end August 14th, 2015. We are looking for a candidate who has a Ph.D. and a record of excellence in teaching. The candidate must be willing to teach and participate in a unit that has a number of events beyond the classroom.

The position involves the teaching of 2.0 full courses (or4.0 half courses). Additional duties may include coordinating senior students hired to initiatives within the Centre for Aboriginal Initiatives.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
